The Chief Archivist’s 2016/17 annual report on the state of government recordkeeping was tabled in the House of Representatives today, 28 March 2018. The report can be found on the Archives New Zealand website:

This year’s report is subtitled Managing public sector information and data and why it matters. It looks at three trends in information management across the public sector and outlines the work Archives New Zealand carried out as regulator in the 2016/17 year.
