Ngā mihi nui mo te tau hou ki a koutou katoa

I hope you all enjoyed the break and some relaxed downtime with family and friends.  The New Year opens out in front of us with some significant landmarks for Archives New Zealand and not to forget the continuing work with the NALI group.

Thank you for your engagement during 2018, particularly with the Regulatory Programme and the Selection Statement. We valued your comments and considered your feedback carefully to help shape these initiatives to enable trusted government information.

An important part of our work this year is to improve our web presence. We are updating our Archives New Zealand websites, including the records toolkit, aiming for easier and better access for our users. We will keep you updated as the work progresses.

Keep an eye out for the State of Government Recordkeeping report as it will be published and available soon via the records toolkit.

We will have more opportunities to work together throughout 2019 so I look forward to your ongoing support in helping raise the profile of public sector information and records management.

Ngā mihi

Richard
