Archives New Zealand is seeking feedback on a refinement of our current statement about what information and records (including data) we want to retain as public archives.
Archives New Zealand is dedicated to ensuring that all New Zealanders have trust and confidence in the accountability, authenticity and integrity of the “memory of government”. It is therefore important that the criteria guiding these decisions are consistent, transparent and easily interpreted by public offices and the general public.
